What is Adodi?

Adodi is a brotherhood, a community and a organization geared towards Same Gender Loving (SGL) Black men of African Descent.

Who is Adodi?

Adodi is a diverse national community of SGL Black men of African descent. Minimum age for participation is 18 years of age. However we tend to attract black men between the ages of 35 and up.

We are a "mature" group. Mature is defined as mature spiritually, emotionally and mentally.

What does the word Adodi mean?

Adodi is the plural form of the word Ado. The word is African and is derived from the Yoruba tradition. We define the word to mean "a man who loves another man." More than just a description of partners, in Africa, the ADODI of the tribe are thought to embody both male and female ways of being and were revered as shamans, sages and leaders.
